Obedience training lays the foundation for a happy, stress-less life with your dog. Whether your goal is total control during off-leash adventures, or simply enjoying a walk or run with your dog on leash without being pulled through your neighborhood, training is the key. Puppy School
7 training days. The Puppy School program is designed for puppies 12 weeks - 15 weeks of age, to prepare them for basic obedience and to help establish basic manners.
Training Includes
- Turnover lesson and one upkeep lesson at SEK9 facility (At owner’s discretion)
- Crate training
- Proper socialization / environmental
- Basic manners
- Reinforcement of no jumping on people
- Reinforcement of no mouthing or play biting
- Introduction to proper leash walking
basic Obedience
3 week board and train. This program is designed to establish a comprehensive foundation of clarity, focus, and social skills for your dog or puppy that will last a lifetime. This program includes a training collar, plus on-leash introductions to behaving appropriately under pressure and being able to hold commands around distracting variables such as other dogs, people, toys, and food. At the conclusion of your dog’s 3 week stay, we’ll train YOU to continue the communication at home and set your dog up for long term reliability.
Training Includes
- Turnover lesson and one upkeep lesson at SEK9 facility, or at a location of owner’s choice within 10 mile radius of facility. (At owner’s discretion)
- Place command
- Heel (on leash)
- Sit with built-in stay

Advanced Obedience
6 week board and train. This program caters to owners who want the absolute most out of their relationship with their dog. We cover everything from the most basic of manners, to behaving politely and reliably in real-life public places. Your dog will learn all of the essential commands with built-in extended ‘stay’, including the invaluable Place command, both on and off leash and will learn to load into a vehicle easily. We thoroughly incorporate the Dogtra remote e-collar for reliability and efficient communication throughout the program, and will teach YOU to take over all of these skills through multiple upkeep lessons with your trainer in order to ensure long term success. This program includes training collar, Dogtra e-collar.
Training Includes
- Turnover lesson and 2 upkeep lessons: 1 lesson at SEK9 facility, and 1 lesson at location of owner’s choice within 10 mile radius of facility. (At owner’s discretion)

A La Carte Lessons
Individual Lessons- 60 minutes in total length, beginning at the scheduled appointment time and ending at the trainer’s discretion within that time frame. These lessons may be scheduled in lieu of a board and train program or in addition to the completion of any program as desired in order to work on specific skills with your dog. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to any scheduled lesson in order to ensure a timely start.
- Additional lessons at SEK9 Facility: $75
- Additional lessons at owner’s home: $100
Behavior modification
6 to 8 week board and train. This program is specifically tailored to your dog. In general, a trainer specializing in behavior modification training will first evaluate your dog and discuss the goals you have for your dog’s preferred lifestyle. Once the dog comes to us for the start of it’s program, the trainer will form a bond with your dog in order to start setting boundaries. From there, the trainer will put obedience on the dog to set a strict structure. Once the dog reaches a certain point in it’s program, the trainer will move to public outings tailored to the dog’s specific behavior issue. Then the owner is brought back into the picture at a point that is beneficial to the dog to teach the owner how to manage the dog’s new lifestyle.
